That was honestly boring as hell.

Cena's announcement was nothing really historic or great.
Big show just kinda lumped around like a potato with legs.
The Divas match was just awful. It wasn't even sexy and fun.

The only really decent part was seeing Sid back, but it's a shame the fight was over so quickly and his match was obviously no challenge at all.

I'm Just waiting on the 1 man band to get some Shake Rattle and Roll from the Honkytonk Man, still 3 weeks to go vince, make it happen :D

Good shout, i'd love to see Honky Tonk Man on Raw too. I think for the 1000th episode, Slater's opponent will be Undertaker.

Jericho looked so old last night. Inoffensive Raw largely but the pole match was ridiculous on multiple levels.

God, I don't know how I'm going to last for the next two weeks having to watch Raw live in a two hour + dose :S....

Yeah I was expecting them to tear the contract in half so it could be a triple threat match.
In what way did Jericho look old was it the promo or the way he dresses like Bon Jovi.

And that would have been a better finish than Sheamus coming out to stop the match. Otherwise I loved that match. Sure showed that they wanted to be World Heavyweight Champion.

did they really end Brodus' streak just to big-up Show a bit more?

I think during the promo because he didn't use any product in his hair.

It's more just how old he looks in the face.

Another poor Raw aside from the Punk/Bryan/Kane/AJ stuff, and the fact that AJ wrestled in a bikini. Was also great to see Sid back.Would love to see him and Vader return full time for a while.

The Cena 'Star Wars' promo before Jericho interupted him was the sort of cringeworthy ****e that I hate about Cena, and Jericho's ridiculous appearance and meandering promo wasn't any better either, nor was Vickie's 'it hasn't happenned in two years,so tonight for the first time ever it'll be Cena vs Jericho'' line.

Depressing stuff,I've even been losing the will to watch Raw the next day on YouTube recently.

So is Slater the new Orton? Though what's the opposite of Legend Killer?

As for the divas match, things have changed big time. I'm surprised they don't all wrestle in habits

The One Man Southern Job Band. No job too small.

Another bad Raw. The Cena promo did my head in, bar the two Yoda lines. It says a lot about Raw that I just set the series record for Impact on my Sky+ box.

    The Legend Enabler Jobber.

    Yup.

Was cool to see Sid :)

What other legends have been back besides him and Vader?

    Overall an Entertaining RAW.

I say that while knowing the results so was able to fast forward through Everything Big Show related, Cena's Star Wars stuff and Santino.

Watched and enjoyed the rest. I liked Jericho bigging up MITB.

I enjoyed the Triple Threat Match at the start. Delighted Punk v Bryan was booked for MITB. Maybe they will even Main Event the PPV!

I though the contract on a pole match as funny. But more what you would expect from two comedy wrestlers than serious championship contenders so while I enjoyed it I admit it was very odd.

Heath Slater must be living the dream at the minute thats Vader and Sid he has got to work with recently. Both squash matches but thats to be expected but ask him 6 months if he thought he would ever get the chance to work with them and he prob would have jumped at the idea. Even CM Punk admitted to a twitter follower a while back that he would love to work with Sid

Cena is in the WWE Championship Ladder Match so that'll probably be the main event. Speaking of, were there only 4 names for that match? Or is it just 4 so far?

Better be more than 4, if not it isnt really a MITB.

Am I the only one who's expecting AJ to get a fashion page on wwe.com called "AJ Styles"?

    I'll get my coat.

Seems like the divas couldnt end that battle royale fast enough

Cannot wait for Raw in roughly 5 minutes. Those videos are solid gold :D

At first you think it's great that they all have a chance to be on TV, and then half of them are eliminated in the first 60 seconds and it's like what's the point? Maybe it was just to get Vickie over more by all attacking her at the beginning but I wonder if half of them just did a Gail Kim and rolled out of the ring.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,565 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

What I always find funny about these Battle Royales that involve guys/girls that get little tv time is that when they're eliminated, all you get from King and Cole is "There goes someone else" as if they can't even remember their name. Happened Caitlin and, I assume, Maxine. I just know Maxine turns up occasionally so I don't really know what she looks like.

Another Battle Royale had Titus O'Neill get eliminated, back before he was in that tag team, and they just referred to him as "Purple trunks" being eliminated.

Didnt they say it would be all former champs? That doesnt leave many options other than Miz or Del Rio (whos feuding with Sheamo) unless Rey makes a surprise return

    Thats the best one yet.
Couldn't stop laughing at Russo slowly fading in, had to pause it to compose myself.
Almost makes the weak shows worth it for them videos.

the first run of sd and raw did more than 8 million last week, then there are things like am raw, replays of sd, when they had stuff like nxt and superstars on tv they hit 12 million but nowadays without those 2 probably closer to 9.5m a week

It says WWE Programming does not just Raw, so with all of the shows combined they prob easily hit 12million :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,888 ✭✭✭Charisteas

WWE probably aren't counting individual viewers though, they're counting each viewing. So if the same person watches both Raw and Smackdown, they are counting it as two viewers.

Last week Raw averaged near 5 million, Smackdown averaged near 3 million but how many viewers watched both? I'd say around 2 million.

It's just WWE twisting numbers again.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 18,522 Mod ✭✭✭✭DM_7

How about people viewing on DVR or the internet? That must be a good number.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,565 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

I was actually expecting the Brodus/Show match to end in a no contest to keep Brodus's streak going and to keep Show strong for the PPV

Bet they are counting household pets too. If they are my dog tends to fall asleep watching so does that count as a viewer.

Well the fact he fell asleep means he was watching it so therefore it does count

Vince is so out of touch with reality if those figures are correct.
Being all PG to satisfy the 21%? Really? Really?

I would imagine that the 21% have parents that watch too, buy their kids wwe merch, and take them to house shows. If they were to lose that 21%, they would potentially be losing a portion of the adult audience.

Or that may be their fear, i dunno
