Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone any recommendations on what to look for?

Don't get one with holes in it.

And don't let Billy Zane on it.

Why did you join a kids' website? They'd know even less about boats than us!!

Its AH here. Looking for a serious response here is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Try another section of boards that deals with that sort of thing.

2 happiest days of boat ownership, the day you buy it and the day you sell it. Buy a tiger, they take less minding and are cheaper. I think the op thought this was boats.ie. Easy mistake to make. err, not. Maybe not the best navigator!

But why would you ask for advice in a forum called 'After Hours'? Surely you'd go to the Sailing & Boating Forum first?

It sure as hell ain't the boat forum.

Your first clue should have been the lack of threads about boats, or usernames like "misterboat69" or "iluvoars."

Buy a rib and stick about 6 100hp outboards on the back. Will do the job nicely :)

    George Bernard Shaw:
There are those who look at boats and and say "I'll make that go on water." I dream of flying boats and ask "Why not?"

Ok thanks for your help. Usually when I see angling I think of fishing!

    Thanks again !

It's important to note that I do not want to fish. I want to dance

  • Registered Users Posts: 154 ✭✭Tope

Or even better the Sailing and Boating forum.
This was helpfully posted on the first page:

Huh? If you want to do that, you don't need a boat. Just let the music flow from within you and let your body follow.

This thread is way more fun than you could ever have on a boat.

  • Site Banned Posts: 153 ✭✭kegzmc

Sorry for confusion. I don't mean I want to dance on the boat. I meant I want to dance now.

The boat is for recreational purposes.

I hope it sinks, while he's inside it, asleep.

You should name your boat "The HelpIdontknowwhatImdoing!"

    Nasty stuff

You've been pointed to some better forums to go to, which you could easily have searched for yourself.

Why are you still here saying horrible things, unless, as I suspect, you're a troll?

Otherwise, you're just really frustrated about having to wait to dance on your boat.

Can you get a tiger that sleeps 2?
