nah, i'm not going far. i'll still post similar crap as before :pac:

weekends have been, and will continue to be, tough for me to do any modding, which makes me slightly redundant IMO. it's better to have a fully active bunch of mods.

during the week i have less time to be on too, so it's logical i give others a go, seen as the aim at the moment is to tighten up the modding a little, and make sure everyone can give the necessary time.

i'll miss the crazy PMs though

Mother of God, reading through one or two of the threads (Batemans mainly) just proves to me that my past indiscretions that would prevent me from ever being considered to mod the forum may have been the best decisions I have made in my time on boards

Very happy with the admin resolution there though!

To SlickRic, you were an excellent mod from what I saw, and its a shame to lose you. Hope you still get to contribute to the forum as much as you like.

True, but the DRP is a good process to have as it highlights trolls when they appeal a good mod decision, but it also highlights when there has been a bad mod decision as well.

It is also good as it can highlight people who try to make up stuff about the mod who infracted them, and it highlights the mods who leave posters hanging by not engaging with the posters over disputed decisions.

I agree, it is a good process to have, however, I am not sure it was around when I had one ban that I was not particularly happy with, but any other ban I have had I have just accepted as generally I have deserved it.

I think it is a bit harsh on the better mods to be under this kind of scrutiny but if it helps the overall service then so be it.

Edit: that sounds like I have been banned loads! I havent I had a 6 month ban for being an absolute dickhead one day and 2 other bans in total from soccer, I think, may have actually just been 1 from here. Banned from the mustard forum also

Picked up a one week ban from the golf forum during the masters, which was incredibly harsh, and wrong imo, another poster was also banned incorrectly however it never crossed my mind to go to DRP about it

I have kinda learned my lesson in terms of getting cards. My last yellow was in January 2011, and the one before that was in April 2010.

Still my total of five cards in five years across all of Boards is not too bad methinks. Two I regard as very very soft, and three my big mouth defo earned.:D

Meh, I pick up yellows now and then but my last ban other then the golf one, which as I said was incorrect imo, and does not actually show on my record I believe, it has been 2009 or so since I was actually banned, and that was from CT it was worth it.

Only the one ban from football back in 2007-8 I think.
