Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Their cliffhangers are delivered so beautiful.

Edge of the edge of the seat stuff every Sunday.

Awful way to head to bed with work in the morning though, i need to be relaxed not a head full of theories and anxiety through the roof

    Holy sh*t.. that was exciting.

Got the impression Ryan would end up shooting Jo to frame Kate. Still think that might be the case!

Will we see Jimmy Nesbitt next week?

Carmichael seems involved - although probably a red herring. Rarely obvious culprits. Would be surprised if her hands were entirely clean though.

God she's an evil number isn't she.

    Ah FFS, two gunshots!

Seven episodes this season. Two more weeks.

What an ending!! Can't believe we have another week of wondering. But I love it. I think it's much better than releasing the series in one go.

Way far fetched she would actually meet her there.

I gather Kate assumed that there was still surveillance on Jo and thats why she went ahead with the meet. When Steve told her there wasn't surveillance anymore she decided to leave... As she was just about to leave, Jo showed up so Kate sent Steve the address knowing she could be in trouble....

He didn't know anything about the surveillance, so I presume Carmichael would have told him, she's not involved, just a jobber.

Great finish though. Plenty of questions left unanswered.

    2 weeks left!!!!

Final episode bank holiday weekend, which is great. Like others I find it hard to sleep afterwards!

Tonight was 5/7 according to the sky planner so two more weeks by the looks of it

Ffs put spoiler tags. Some of us don't watch the teaser for a reason.

    Apologies, deleted.

In fairness, those teasers are intended to add further confusion and suspense. You'd be silly to read too much into them.

Whatever comes next, Ryan's goose was cooked by the end of that episode

Every week there is something genuinely jaw dropping.

Easily argued it’s one of the best shows ever.

@ShineOn7: Last week you were looking for the quotes from Jed Mercurio about there being a season 7...

Jed Mercurio says Line of Duty could run for another two series (Radio Times, April 2019)

“Once series five has finished airing we’ll have a conversation with the BBC, with a view to whether there’s a possibility to series seven being commissioned,” he said. “But we definitely know we’ve got series six.”

“The only reason is that there are a lot of loose ends to tie up, and we couldn’t take the risk of getting it commissioned later on,” he said. “So if we didn’t know that we could go beyond this series, then we would have to approach it in a way that concluded things.”

    Thanks for this Talisman

It looks like Mercurio is writing this Season with it in mind it could be the last, and then if there's more it's a bonus

But everything points to the H storyline arc (finally!) getting wrapped up

So is Hunter her dad or her brother? I heard them say homo something but didn’t get what they were trying to tell us.

Good episode but Carmichael was very panto villain I'm afraid. She was excellent in season 5, but this time round she was a caricature.

Swanning into the office "for some inexplicable reason if you don't know who I am..." Jesus, when did LOD become a Disney movie?

It's all gone a bit OTT, panto and formulaic.

    But still highly entertaining!

    Was Dot working with Carmichael?
They keep talking about H as male, would the shock be he is a she?
Seemed to quickly shut down surveillance when they wanted Kate dead....coincidence? Then told them not to go out, then followed them
