Hard to see how Hasting's battle isn't over.

Even if he somehow gets out of the forced retirement then both Steve & Kate have pretty damning evidence against him regarding leaking info on Corbett and giving Steph the 50k.

I mean they could keep it hush hush but that would diminish the series IMO as then, as such, the 3 main characters are in some way bent.

Or Kate is killed and Steve blackmails Hastings to get the drugs charge dropped.

Unless Jo tries to turn the tables, suggesting Kate is framing her to cover her own tracks, make it a "your word against mine" situation, but I reckon that's incredibly unlikely.

I don't think we've ever had a Season where the second last or last episode isn't a 20 or sometimes even 30 min juicy interview room scene

Having it be Ryan this year is a big enough character for that, given his arc in the show

I think Ted's explaination for not wanting to bring him in is also a hint to the audience about why it wouldn't be a juicy scene. Can't see it happening.

Just reading there about Carmichael background in series.

I forgot she acussed Ted of informing Lee Banks in prison that John Corbett was a police officer and got him killed as a result the next day.

Then Lee Banks said same tonight.

It could be a decoy but really hope not going to be case that Ted is involved!

Just speculation on my part in the hope there's one or two more seasons after this (but the H storyline is put to bed this year):

Do you bring in actor of the status of James Nesbitt for just two episodes? Or is he part of future plans after that?

More like on a thread with ** spoilers ** people should actually expect some spoilers. Plus just because it’s in a teaser doesn’t mean it needs to be taken at face value. LOD teasers are quite often misleading...
