    hey guys sorry for my disappearance. I was on vacation my intention the whole time was to get my 2nd and 3rd rounders picked and forgoe my others but the draft was taking longer than I anticipated.

    The draft took us longer than the 8 days it took last year, we'll have to do better next year if we can..

    Now for the next stage, adding your rookies. To do this i need anyone who hasnt done so already to make enough space for the rookies you have drafted. I also need anyone who hasn't done so to clear your IR spot, either move him to your 30 man roster or cut him. If i cant add your rookies because of a guy in the IR slot i will cut him

    I am hoping to have all of this done by Saturday so i will tentatively arrange waivers to commence at 9pm on Monday evening (this can change if there are delays in adding rookies) For all the newbies our waivers are run on a free agent auction system. basically you put in a bid and if you are the highest bidder then that player is yours. You have a budget of $100 for the season. Waivers usually run 6 days a week

    We have a full season ahead of us so best of luck to everyone. Hope its a successful season for you all, so long as you finish behind me...

    I have a guy on IR for the year, why do I have to move him back to the main roster? It's Quincy Enunwa and he is gone for year, he won't be playing at any stage.

    This should not affect you adding players to the roster.

    EE, its always been the way the league has been run. I copied that post from Spongey from last year in advance of pushing out our rookie classes. Several people are affected by having an IR player (Julian Edelman, Spencer Ware or Ryan Tannenhill) or a player who is not sure to start the season (Luck, Orr or Meredith). They must choose whether or not to keep the player. if the player is important enough to you you'll find a way to keep him on your thirty man roster.

    The reason we have an IR spot is exactly for what has happened to Edelman, Ware and Enunwa.

    What we didn't want was somebody using the IR for a player who is only designated injured but who will return very shortly. We don't want anybody using it as an angle to get an extra player on their roster. If the player is truly out then it's fine to use the spot from the start of the year. In the case of Edelman and Enunwa they are gone for the season.

    Hi all,
    In light of the query yesterday from eagle eye (and in consultation with Spongey our previous commissioner) and having a player in the IR spot on your roster i now confirm that

    1) the IR spot on your team is not designed to be an extra roster spot. It is there to allow for injuries picked up before or during the season.

    2) you cannot have a player in your IR spot in advance of me pushing out your draft class. If you do have a player in your IR spot that player will be removed from your team

    3) when I push down your rookies you can only have 30 players on your roster at that time, whether they are IR or not.

    4) once rookies are pushed out you can move a player you have on IR to the IR spot and then pick up a player through FAAB.
