I've been a fan of words for many years, and especially love nonsense words or definitions. I remember Denis Norden on I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue years ago, playing a game where alternative definitions were offered for ordinary items, defining "Ford Transit" as "Vin Ordinaire".

I got a present of a wonderful book "Bloom's Bouquet of Imaginary Words" which I love, and love leafing through it to find such wonderful words as "Internut: Someone who's online all the time" and "Confidance: What Fred and Ginger had", or "Squarrel: Fighting Squirrels".

Inventing new words can be a good game to play, and I wonder does anyone else enjoy such nonsense pasttimes or have any nonsense words they use? I'm not sure it will make a good game on the net, although suspect others have words they use which will not be found in the OED.

I use such fun descriptos all the time :)

...often have 'nonversations' (talking to someone who is not listening)
and participate in 'remimissing' (leaving out all the bad parts from the past)
and my leftovers in the fridge look rather 'guacamoldy' (an avocado thats past its prime).

I think it would make a great puzzle game :D ...to create a word and define it could be fun
