    Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card.I'm hoping to play recent enough games like Skyrim,Sims 3 at medium/high settings and I would like it to last me a few years. My budget is around 130 euro. Any recommendations of the best model and cheapest price I could get it? I've heard that this is one of the best price-performance wise.

    Any help would be appreciated.

That or this if you can stretch. Shouldn't order off there for one item though as shipping is €19.

Would the performance difference be worth the extra 20-30 euro? This is probably a stupid question but will both of these cards be compatible with any motherboard? And where would you recommend to buy them, Dabs or Komplett?

Dabs has some bad feedback. Not a lot but some. Komplett and elara are easy to deal with in my opinion because there is an actual place where you can go to meet them. So if you wanna go running for them, you can ;). I'm ordering a graphics card myself from komplett and it should be in the warehouse today so I'll see how that goes and I'll let you know about packaging, service, ease of transaction, etc.

A bit disappointed. Nothing major. I ordered 25th of june(before 1pm) and the order's supposed to be available(for pick-up) within 2-3 days. 3rd day is today and no sign. I called them though and they said that it has to be in tomorrow.

The 6850 is the right card for the budget you gave, but the 6870 is a better card for a small increase in your budget. There is a noticeable difference in the two cards, 6870 performing about 15% better on average. The 6870 is probably a little better value, but if you don't have the money for it the 6850 is a great card too.
    What resolution is your monitor?

Things you will need to actually use the 6850.
1 PCI-E slot on your motherboard preferably x16
1 6 pin power connector from your PSU (The 6870 takes two 6 pin power connectors)
Both the cards are dual slot cards so you'll need two empty PCI slot/bays at the back of your case.

€140 shipped for a 6870 is a very good deal to me .
