Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I'm not an alcoholic.

    Smileys aren't passive-aggressive either.

I don't take offence that easily.

I actually like Irish men too.

that is a whole load of horse plop... most of the irish women i know earn their own money, & pay their own way.

you seem to be grasping at straws trying to cling onto a losing battle.

and as far as foreign women go... there is just as many moochers per capita abroad as there is at home.

Living in a foreign city, I can vouch for that. Had a Maltese friend here giving me tips in a bar on how to get men to buy you drinks....we're not so friendly anymore since then.

I never said you didn't :confused:I never did either!! Unfortunately many Irish men rely on drink to give them those balls. Latin American men...not so much. :)

If you think it's only Irish men who date foreign women, you're fooling yourself to suit your own bitter agenda. I don't ... to use your figures - there ain't 3.5 billion foreign women in Ireland. So .... obviously they're dating foreign men ... in foreign lands, maybe?

    ;)

This thread has contributions from bitter, angry Irish WIMMEN not men, so ask yourself which gender are having the problems scoring foreign or Irish WIMMEN. If that's the kind of attitude you have, it's no wonder MEN blank you on a night out. (I just - sorta changed the words for the opposite ... I feel it's more 'real' that way!)

And the fact that you can generalise about 3.5 billion foreign MEN from the Land of Foreign (All have balls - and don't drink?? Quote - Irish men rely on drink to give them those balls. Latin American men...not so much) just shows the stupidity in your statement and the fact that you're only posting here because your bitter over previous rejections and want to get some kind of pathetic revenge.
(I just - changed the words again ...etc, etc .....!)

. I've never had problems with men :)

Probably because .... they don't come near you.

You brought an entire sexual orientation, homosexuality, into question. I just brought the sexual habits of women in one particular small country into question. The sexual habits of women in Ireland would be related to the culture on this island, and would not necessarily pertain the sexual habits of all women everywhere. However questioning the sexual habits of an entire sexual orientation (not just here but everywhere, beyond culture) suggests that those sexual habits are an endemic part of homosexuality. Therefore, your comment is of greater offense than my comment as it goes far deeper than just culture. My comment more so puts culture into question and less so gender/orientation.

You were looking for an excuse to cry homophobia today.

It's fine for you to comment on the sexual habits of others but how dare a similar comment be passed on the poor marginalised gays.

You created the issue in your head, a close family member of mine is gay. I'm far from a homophobe.

3.5 billion foreign women. You stated foreign women not foreign women IN IRELAND are superior. I think you specified the continent....not continental women living in Ireland. Let me get this straight, you were referring to continental women living in Ireland?

Either way, living on the continent for almost 3 years, I'll simply say you can find as many bitches, gold diggers etc here as anywhere. Probably a little difficult to realise if you don't speak a continental language. I speak Spanish quite well, so I'd probably get a better idea than someone who doesn't....

Okay, I accept your comment regarding my generalisation of latin men and their balls. After spending 1 year in Latin America, I found Latin men very forward and didn't rely on getting baloobas beforehand. I had a different experience in Ireland. Not to say I think Latin men are better....I don't. I like Irish men, have had Irish boyfriends...all lovely fellas but my comment was simply that I admire the bravery of Latin American men (which you turned on me and used it as a stick to beat me with )

As I said, I've no problems/never had a problem with men. You saying I do doesn't change that. Sorry pal! :)

Irish men have balls too - which is why Irish women now cry into their stereotypical pint glasses of blue WKD - because non-alcoholic foreign women with manners, poise and no spare tyres would appear to be a superior catch to the Irish equivalent.
Most foreign women have a sense of humour and don't just regard a man as an accessory 'til the newer fancied model comes along. Irish social welfare is sooooo accommodating to dating Irish mothers!!

    :)
Passive aggressive smiley at the end of that.

You say atrocious things and tell lies about Irish women and view a challenging of them as an example of anti men? But it's ok for you to post such venom against women?

And you've even lied and said this thread contains bitter comments from women and not men...?

Very defensive on the man thing aren't we?

Not your pal ... ummm ... not about to answer further either. I have to work in a short while .... and frankly - I'm bored with you and your presumptions. I speak and write French and Spanish fluently, also Swedish and a bit of Cantonese. I have dated around the world .... and am still doing so. Frankly - Irish women have far too high an opinion of themselves and their welfare entitlements.

Note to self: Must use more smilies!

that is a whole load of horse plop... most of the irish women i know earn their own money, & pay their own way.

you seem to be grasping at straws trying to cling onto a losing battle.

and as far as foreign women go... there is just as many moochers per capita abroad as there is at home.

Umm ... I drink from a cup and haven't needed a straw since Guadeloupe and beach cocktails! .... and ... this isn't important enough to me to be a battle - lost, won or flushed down the loo.

It's a truth, universally acknowledged by most earnest Irish men that:

.... most Irish women don't want to earn their own money ....

    Take it up with society.

BUT it's women's fault that the idea is out there and has never been countered. Until it is countered (if it's possible) - most Irish men will regard it as an immutable argument.

    ie:

Women are only after men for their money and as soon as a bigger wallet trundles by ... if the opportunity presents itself (from the new trundleing man that is!) - they'll be gone.

Note to self: Looked in the tin under the stairs and everywhere else I can think of .... I seem to have run out of smile-eees!

No...as I said, all the Irish women I know are financially independent. I know more than two Irish women.

Are you saying more women than men are claiming social welfare? I can dig up stats on that too if you like.

Wha? It tells us how many Irish women are working with actual statistics as supposed to anecdotal evidence from my own experience.

You're telling me that my anecdotal evidence is more reliable/trustworthy than statistics? Should I take that as some kind of compliment?
