Sounds like a stripped down version of the 910xt. Wonder why they went with a user replaceable battery instead of a rechargeable battery? Could it be that spending a lot of time in the water corrodes the battery charge terminals or lets in water?

I'm sure Tunney will enjoy this from their FAQ:

Q: Why does water come out from my Garmin Swim's buttons several hours after swimming?
A: This is normal and is not an indication that there is water getting inside the main compartment of the watch.
