parking on kilbarrack road

    can anyone suggest me whether there is free on street car parking on kilbarrack road? i need to go to the junction of kilbarrack road and howth road and dublin road,,, dont know the area much so cant explain very well :p
    If there isint any free onstreet parking, any other option of free car park anywhere around? If no such option whats the parking rate for on street parking for 1 hour :D I will have to park for about 3-4 hours

    Looking at it on Google Street view (here) there appears to be parking, but mainly on the footpath.

    Parking spaces outside the shops nearby? (Centra, chipper, McHughs off-licence), and on side roads.

    You might have a problem at the shops, it's only a lay-by but you will find plenty of parking on the main road or side streets. There are no meters so no problems there.

    There is no LEGAL parking on footpaths. Don't do it. It's anti-social and you may be clamped.

    There is also a Mandatory cycle lane, afaik it is an offence to stop on one.
