When we were out trading yesterday a car parked nearby with the back open and the two most beautiful and laid-back Labradors ever.

It was an older English couple on their holidays and the dogs go everywhere with them in a luxuriously appointed bed. Carpet, rugs, pillows...

The older was 10. female and pale gold and such a softie. Totally at ease with the world and not phased by any of the attention they were getting. Opening a lazy eye now and then and politely allowing and accepting a pet like canine royalty.

So lovely to see them and meet them.

Great contrast with a local black Lab wandering loose and in real danger from traffic.
