Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I use the Real Techniques buffing brush for foundation and I really like it.

I can second the Real Techniques one, I personally don't own a Mac 187 or Sigma similar one, but have used friends, and I really prefer the real techniques one, just for size, and price to be honest. I don't wear make up so often though as to be able to tell you if there's much difference in the finish, but I couldn't see one myself.

I use the Real Techniques stippling brush for foundation - it says it's for powder but it works brilliantly with liquid foundation. It's more dense than most stippling brushes and foundation goes on really nicely with it.

The RT stippling bursh is great, I have the 187 but I prefer the size of the stippline brush because I have greater control over the product. The buffing brush in the face (orange-handled) set is also fabulous for liquid foundation, it is my current favourite foundation brush, though I've been using it with lighter foundations; the stippling brush is probably a better option for a thicker foundation because you get a lighter finish with it. The buffing brush also has the disadvantage of only being available in the face set, and two of the briushes are a bit useless size-wise. The stippling brush can be bought on its own and is a a great brush, my preferred brush over the MAC 187, the MAC 188, or the ELF powder brush (which I still love).

The expert face brush is basically the buffing brush sold seperately. I love the buffing brush, best foundation brush I've used. So I imagine knowing the quality of the other RT brushes that the expert face brush is as good :) I don't know if you can get it in Boots yet, but it's available on cloud10beauty.com

    Hmmm I'm a tad confused.

RT face brush is different from the buffing brush? And not the same as the RT stippling brush? Is this right?!

    Thanks for the opinions btw!

    :)

Sigma have amazing foundation brushes, their flat and round top synthetic kabuki brushes are amazing and very reasonably priced considering the quality, I love them!

Can a kabuki brush be used to apply liquid foundation? I am quite new to all this!
