O2 look like they're fully launching their O2 media and O2 More services. They appear to be marketing services where companies can take advantage of mobile marketing via direct messaging, location based messaging (tracking you and telling you of near by offers), mobile app development, app discovery (letting people know apps exist) and C2M (charging for digital and tangible goods via your mobile account.

I'm not 100% sure if all registered customers of O2 over 16 yrs are automatically opted in as the T&C's which only seem to state how to opt out rather than how to opt in:

To opt out of O2 More send "STOP" to 50407 via SMS
