Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'd have put all my money on Di Natale scoring. Wow.

Jaysus if Italy don't win this they'll never live it down

    Ah Di Natale
    He looked surprisingly slow there.

The slippiness of the pitch is a joke

It has scuppered more than one Italian attack this half

I can't believe he missed that last attempt on goal being on side and a clear view of goal. the slipping is terribly bad.

Game was over after Balotelli's 2nd goal. No team will come back from 2-0 against Italy. Not even Spain. They are masters in the art of defending.

Would watch this match for 4 more hours easy

Reflects poorly on Poland IMO. Poland is far wealthier then Ukraine but Ukrainian stadiums have have none of these problems. For a semi it's pretty poor.

Italy have defended so well. Very impressive.

I really hope Italy (if they get there) beat Spain in the final. Italian games have been far more enjoyable to watch.

Well at least Pirlo has wrapped up the player of the tournament award.

If Italy win, Pirlo will get it. If Spain win, Iniesta.

its their first major tournament ever but i would thought they could do something better with the pitches.

Germany did have everything in their favour, an easier QF and 2 (3?) more days rest, great Italian performance

Pirlo has been outstanding in this tournament.

Was 3 days and you are right, Germany had an easier path to the final alright . . Both teams from Italys group are in the Final and with the crap thats surrounded Italy pre tournament, losing one of their top players and the extra rest Germany got, I think Italy have been superb . .

Could go down as one of the greatest individual international tournament performances. Certainly the most consistent I've seen

Boateng, Hummells and Badstuber have been awful. Do Natalie has been shocking since he came on.

thats it all over.. i think the germans got their team wrong or something but they should have at least scored 1 goal

As far as I remember he got man of the match in 4 of his 7 matches at WC 2006, yet most of the talk was over why cannovaro didnt get the award over Zidane, Pirlo was the best player at that tournoment as well

So happy to say that I got to see Pirlo in the flesh. This photo I took is full of classiness; Ronaldinho, Berbatov, Beckham and Pirlo.
