Odd topic. In men and women I would suggest "good hair" is shiny and thick, regardless of ethnic diffs. It shows youth and vigour. Balding and greying though they can certainly happen when younger are much more signals of aging, so points deducted there. Even then people can find grey/balding attractive so it's all a bit up in the air.

Good hair = hair that is naturally strong, soft and not chemically/heat treated (so very few females qualify).

Hair that is nice to run your fingers through .......... mmmm.


And most definitely hair that is not supplemented with extensions - hate, hate, hate them. I don't understand why so many girls stick on ponytails etc, or worse still, those clip in extensions and then spend their time asking people if the clips are visible.

I'm 25 and my hair grows too fast! I don't think I will go bald, but if I did I doubt it would bother me. I shaved my head many a time.

As long as your hair isn't exceptionally thin, I imagine it could be described as good hair.
I think I'll have to shave mine off again. I always have it short anyway but any length at all starts to annoy me.
I'm one of the few who still regularly sticks with the classic short with back and sides and a scissors on top:P

People are saying thick hair is nice but I hate how thick my hair is. It doesn't grow long, it just radiates outwards. Not that I ever wanted long hair but the option of having a fringe would be nice.

keeping it cut and styled its always good no matter if your hair is thick or not so thick,i got mine done at peter marks,if you go after 5 you get a good discount - got a cut and blowdry for a tenner..

leave off some of the hair dyes as the peroxide can be a bit harsh sometimes its better to leave your hair rest for a month or so,(so what if the roots go),as long as you keep a good style,get a good roundy brush,and blowdry and straighten,put on some spray or serum afterwards..

if your hair is thinning try regaine its in every chemists..

I have thick hair, love it, as I see some other girls lookin' wispy, and that ain't a good look, however a downside is getting my highlights done, it takes flipping ages

No phlegmy im not a bloke,but even if i were,i think if you keep a good style of hair,it shouldnt be a problem,a nice colour and cut always looks well,unless of course you are doing a donald trump with a different coloured wig to your natural hair,the combover looks ridiculous..
if you are completely bald?well..a good fitting wig or a weave in hair at a specialised hair clinic,or just shave it all off and brave it..
