Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Philips TV HD Issue

I have owned a Philips 42'' Flat Screen TV for about 7 years now. About 2 months ago, the HD stopped working. 'No Display Connected' message appears under personailsation on my laptop, same on the TV. I have tested the cable and laptop on different TVs and it works fine, ruling out any issues with either, so the problem is with the TV.

Is there anything I can do about this? Is there anyone these days who offer repairs for such issues with these TV's? Any help greatly appreciated

Did you: Reboot computer when connected to TV? Update graphic drivers? Review resolution settings? Try different connection on TV?

Yeah its definitely nothing to do with the laptop, I have tested it on other TVs and it works fine, issue is with the TV itself

As Eddie has already said, review your resolution settings - it may be a simple case of your laptop outputting a resolution that the old Philips doesn't support.

The instruction manual might mention what resolutions it does support.
