    Tuesday 3rd July 2012
Semi Finals: Liam Bolger 1 v 2 Alan Mulcahy
    Terry Meehan 2 v 1 Des Sheridan
Final: Alan Mulcahy 3 v 1 Terry Meehan

First night back but after nervey 1st round games the serious darts kicked in.180's in abundance 2night with Liam Bolger hitting 3 in different legs and the eventual winner also clocking one on the night.Alan followed on from a great season with consistent darts throughout and deserved his victory on the night.Roll on next week when everyone will be looking to improve on 2night and get in the frame. Thanks to all the support from players outside the Arms and look forward to seeing you all next week for another great night of Darts .
(P.S. the F**ker also won the Burma Road (Halves) after the comp)

    Tuesday 10/7/12
Semi Finals: Andy Gallagher 2 v 1 James Kinsella
    Joe Byrne 2 v 1 Liam Bolger

Final: Joe Byrne 3 v 0 Andy Gallagher

Great night of darts with Liam narrowly missing out on a final for the 2nd week running with a missed double (its coming). Joe Byrne prevailing in the final in a one sided affair but in fairness threw the most consistent darts of the night leaving a 9 darter chance in a previous round with back to back 180`s but hitting a 29 to leave 112 which he polished off in his next 3 for a 12 darter. We are back next week to do it all again and looking for a new champ so get down to the Arms and get your name on the Champs list. See ya there !!!!!

    Tuesday 17/7/12

Semi Finals: Colly White 2 v 0 Wesso Dunne

    Alan Mulcahy 2 v 0 Tony Murphy

    Final : Colly White 3 v 1 Alan Mulcahy

Good turnout last night some new faces this week adding to the competition. 2 of them getting to the semi's in their 1st week back this year.
Well done Tony & Wesso. But it was the 2 form players at the moment who contested the final. Alan in his 2nd final in 3 weeks. But it was Colly who won out with steady darts all night hitting crucial scores and crucial finishes at crucial times in each game.
The competition is getting hotter each week so drop down next week and earn a few bob !!!!
Thanks again for all the support.

    Tuesday 24th July 2012
Semi Finals: Joe Byrne 2 v 0 Alan Mulcahy
    Andy Gallagher 2 v 1 Mark Howard

Final: Joe Byrne 3 v 1 Andy Gallagher

A good night of darts again 2nite with 2 previous winners meeting in the semi final Joe and Alan. With Joe coming out on top, with expierence proving to be the difference and once again proving you cant miss doubles against a player of Joe's quality.
Nice to see Mark Howard getting in the frame 2nite a quality player as ever and a hard player to put to bed but Andy just snook a tight semi final. The final was a repeat of 2 weeks ago but was a bit of a closer contest this time around. A super 1st leg which andy could have won but as stated earlier you dont give Joe Byrne a shot at a double.Joe won the 2nd leg comfartably with the darts but Andy composed himself to win the 3rd with Joe not lighting up the board, The 4th leg was tight but Joe produced a match winning 180 to leave 53 which knocked Andy for 6 and once again calmly finished as Joe does to claim his 2nd final victory in 3 weeks in this competition.
Then followed "Golf Darts" all txts to Terry Meehan on this one. But if you want to expierence this drop down next week if only for the Golf !!!! see ya then and thanks again for the support !
P.S. Liam Bolger is the "Tiger Woods" of golf darts.

    Tuesday 31/7/12

Semi Finals: Joe Byrne 2 v 1 Des Brennan

    Colly White 2 v 0 Terry Meehan

    Final : Joe Byrne 3 v 0 Colly White

Again the competition 2nite was awsome with every quarter finalist capable of reaching the semi's but it was the above mentioned who prevailed 2 nite and the semi's did not dissapoint with quality darts thrown, But it was Joe Byrne who came out on top with a 3rd final win in 5 weeks. Colly's lack of finishing helped Joe's cause but his calmness under pressure led him to a deserved victory.Once again vital scores and vital doubles at crucial times saw him through notibaly in the quarters when Alan Mulcahy was on a double after 12 darts when Joe popped up with a 180 / 140 to leave tops which he finished with 1 dart (such was the standard 2 nite)
Once again if you are serious about your darts drop down next week and chance your arm against some serious players.
See you then and again thanks for your support !!!!

    Tuesday 21 Aug 2012
Semi Finals: Des Sheridan 2 v 0 Colly White
    Des Brennan 2 v 0 Alan Mulcahy

Final: Des Sheridan 3 v 2 Des Brennan

Another good night of quality darts. The winner coming back after a 5 week absense to throw some great darts but it was his finishing that made the difference all night that saw him take top spot. Des Brennan had been throwing well all night with a 12 and 14 darter in his first round game. And took the 1st leg of the final and looked like he was cruising but Des Sheridan hit back hard with some ton plus scores and clinical finishing to go go 2-1 up.Des Brennan made it 2-2 to bring it to a nervy final leg which either could have won but again it was Des Sheridan's clinical finishing that took the last leg and a deserved 3-2 win (he's back).
Thanks again for the support and see you all next week !!!!!!

    Tuesday 29/8/2012

Semi Finals: Colly White 2 v 1 Gerry Fagan
    Des Brennan 2 v 1 Terry Meehan

Final: Colly White 3 v 0 Des Brennan

Another good night of quality darts with Des Brennan reaching his 2nd final in a row and desrerved throwing some excellent early round darts but again this week the final ran away from him with Colly White proving why he his the NCDL Singles Champ 2012 with a clinical final display with 19/17 and 16 darts in that order to take a one sided final.Des battled hard but with every high score he produced colly either matched or bettered.Only a couple of weeks left to get your name in the frame so drop down next week and make a challenge. Once again thanks for the support and see ya then!!!!!!
P.S. Nice to see Fagan in the frame after a 2 week rest and relaxation.

    Tuesday 5/9/12
Semi Finals: Des Brennan 2 v 1 Joe Byrne
    Liam Mongey 2 v 0 Colly White

    Final : Des Brennan 3 v 1 Liam Mongey

Small turn out but quality darts as usual.A round robin was played and the eventual winner was Des Brennan who did'nt lose a game in the process.
This was Dessie's 3rd final in a row and at last he got his just rewards for throwing the most consistent darts over the last 3 weeks. Liam made it to the final in his 1st week back after a lengthy absence over the last few weeks with some steady darts but Dessie's recent form was just to good to handle.
Unfortunately next week is the last competition for this year with the leauge rapidly descending upon us. For the Arms lads we will continue to meet on tuesday with an odd friendly thrown in before the leauge starts.
So see everyone next week for the last hurrah !!!!!

    Tuesday 11th Sept 2012

Semi Finals: Colly White 2 v 0 Alan Mulcahy
    Des Sheridan 2 v 1 Andy Poole

    Final : Colly White 3 v 0 Des Sheridan

Well the last competition for this year and another great night of darts. Colly finishing the summer on a high and deserved with a clinical display of scoring and finishing tonight. Des Sheridan throwing well to the final with some great legs of high scoring and precision finishing to get there. Andy Poole has and can throw better but his never say die attitude got him to the semi final. Alan Mulcahy still throwing decent darts all summer will rue the missed doubles against Colly in the semi's that could have brought it to 1-1 but again Colly proved why he has been so consistent this year hitting back hard with every good score put up to him.
Can i just take this opportunity to thank every player (outside of the City Arms) for supporting our competition this year and the best of luck for the coming season.
To all the players from the City Arms we will meet every Tuesday until the start of the leauge to keep our hand in so see you all next week
See you all again next summerand thanks again !!!!
