My friends and I are going to Dublin for a few days and I was wondering which clubs will take 18s? We've had some problems in Cork with everywhere being 19s or 21s so I'd like to have an idea where to try in advance.

    Alright Lana Del May,

    The Button Factory
    D2
Purty Kitchen or the Kitchen Night Club ( more popular)
Twisted Pepper if you're into Dance/ Dubstep stuff,
Lost Society could be 19s, I'm not sure, but is a good place, ring and ask.

    Try this site: http://www.indublin.ie/Venues/Nightclubs/D-two_Nightclub.aspx
    or
    http://www.yelp.ie/search?find_desc=clubs+for+18+and+over&find_loc=Dublin#!

    Hope that helps... have fun.

Weekend or during the week? On saturdays there's Hu$$le and Propaganda in the academy on Abbey Street. Club 21 on D'Olier Street is 18's most night's I think. Double check their facebook pages and those of any other places you like the look of, just to be sure.

    D2 is only 18s a couple nights a week I think, I know it's 19's on wednesdays and over 21s friday's and saturdays.

Alchemy is normally 18s I think

Propaganda is an indie night and will take 18s. Fitzsimons in Temple Bar, and Alchemy too. They're not the best spots though. If you're looking for a random strange experience try upstairs in Doyles at College Green.

However, if you like cheap drink and a rough crowd try Quinns in Drumcondra, although at being 18- you may be a bit old considering the average age in there is 15.

    Fitzsimons in Temple Bar

€6+ for a pint iirc and fair from an 18 year olds late bar imo.

I thought it was illegal for clubs to determine an entry age above 18 under the Equality Acts.

Though arguing that with a bouncer is unlikely to produce a good result.
