Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have noticed on our 35 that there is a fair gap between the front axle beam and the pin that holds it in place (trunion pin?). I'm guessing it's not supposed to be like this. Was there a bushing there originally or has the axle itself just worn away over the years?

    There's a bushing alright.

you should take it apart for a look.

depending on how long it's gone you might have damaged the housing, if not it's just a new pin and bush.

if you're not doing much work and the hole is worn you might consider fitting a new bush, bedded in chemical metal. wont last as long as the full job.

new axle beams and carriers can be bought, or an engineering works could build up with weld and machine back to the original size.

(if there's a loader dont even bother trying my chemical metal suggestion)

It looks as if the housing may be damaged alright. There's no loader on it so no worries there, but I would rather keep the original axle for sentimental purposes:)
