    Hi,

I have a jacket I've had for years, and I'd love to start wearing it again but the lining is all torn. Is there anywhere in Dublin that replaces linings or that could fix this? Googling is no help here. I can't find anywhere! Someone told me it would be cheaper to just buy a new coat, but I really REALLY love this one so would love to be able to restore it.

I know this is a really old thread but just wondering if you ever found somewhere to get it done?

I've gotten this done a few times, I just pick up lining in hickeys and bring it to a local alterations place. Got a knee length winter coat done a few months back and I think I paid €20.

    Thanks Design78
just wondering - how do you know how much lining to buy?
I need the full inside of the coat done, and both pockets
I asked in a place on the quays how much would it cost
If I didn't buy the lining myself it was €50+ :(
She didn't say how much if I got the lining myself

My coat is navy and I was going to get a different colour for the lining
just to change it up a bit
Do they measure the coat in Hickeys and tell you how much lining you need?
Can you say where you got yours done?
    I live in Dublin
I know there's a lot of questions there - thanks again for the info!

Hey I got mine done in Zippys in the Pavillion's in Swords - their number is 01 8074640.
The lining material in Hickeys was not expensive and the girl behind the counter told me how much I would need, I would have bought say an extra half yard just in case.
