I know this is a bad idea before I ask but just wondering would a credit card let you withdraw 3000-4000 from an atm?

Would there be any way to do this or would i have to spread it out over a few days or go to few different atms?

If i was to do this what credit card would be the best, I was looking at the Tesco and Nib one.

    Thanks for any advice

So you don't have a card yet, and already thinking of taking cash advance of 3-4k???
Are you sure they will offer you such a high limit on your first card?
From "local" knowledge, you will be offered 500-700 limit at best, if any.
And - no judging here - it will suit you better.

If you need a cash, apply for a loan.

Even if you pumped the a/c with piles of cash, the credit card company will probably impose a daily cash withdrawal limit to protect you against fraud. Otherwise someone getting hold of your PIN could clean out the a/c in one stroke.

The only way to get that amount of cash out in one transaction would be to go into a bank. They will let you withdraw any amount up to your credit limit on the card.
