Overcast again, have not seen the sun for a few days now. Fairly windy too.

Indeed, was a very windy night here in the midlands, bins all over the place!

Very warm start to the day, as on my daily commute to work, i nearly passed out.

nice one Docarch. Meanwhile, a lot of Met Eireann stations did not report at 16:00 which is odd. This includes Dublin Airport, Cork Airport, Knock, Shannon Airport and Casement. I wonder if it's an general airport problem?

Took the afternoon off work and went down to Bray promenade, sunny and very warm, car thermometer was 27c even on the motorway so probably was within a degree or two of that - nice!

Awesome sunshine in Dublin 2. Everyone dining alfresco. Blustery in spots. Enter Meath on the N2 just now - hit the wipers. Sooo humid.

Anyone know the owner of shankillweather.com ? Would love to know the max they got today, near here and I'd guesstimate it wasn't far off 27C

Don't know but got 24.2c on my station in Ashford, 27c seems very high???

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,427 ✭✭✭✭Supercell

I dont think it was as sunny in Ashford, here seems to have been in a sweet spot last couple of days downstream of the mountains. Bray seems to have been 25 + and thats right on the coast, I'm a couple of KM inland so might give another degree at a pinch.

    Aha, I got it http://www.irelandsweather.com/ - Shankill 28.1C
Seems a little on the high side, would love to know the station type and exposure, but with the high winds today if its a decent type like a Davis then exposure shouldn't have been such a problem.

It was a cracker of a day :D

Sun never appeared at all in Dundalk and guessing from various containers there must've been half an inch of rain through the day where I am.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,175 ✭✭✭Kutebride

Mist and fog in Meath. Prefer proper full on rain/showers than these muggy conditions. It like this since came home from work, going to bed, presume it didn't stop overnight. Off to Dublin for brighter conditions like yesterday perhaps.

  • Registered Users Posts: 721 ✭✭✭lostinashford

Cloudy start, some trace moisture overnight but not enough to be recorded.

    Currently 17.6c
