iPod Shuffle will only take 19 tracks and no more?

Same as below, doing a favour for the other parent and their iPod. Simply put. There's been an issue with their iPod Shuffle for sometime as it simply won't take more then 19 tracks (or thereabouts) of music.

Simply put, what is the issue here?

How much space is on the shuffle and how big are each of the sound files? =/

I believe it's a 1GB. The space used up thus far is 70.1 PM encompassing 19 tracks of 1 album.

It sounds like an itunes problem.

Have you your music 'ticked' in itunes?

Go to the music tab and the left most column has a little tick. itunes will only sync ticked music. This drove me crazy for about a week...

Ye its sounds like Itunes is trying to put your entire music collection on the device. Make sure your only trying to sync the songs you want.

If that doesn't work try restoring the ipod
