I think we have enough repeats with the+1channels and More 4. I really don't think there is any need for another catch up channel. Waste of an epg slot. :mad:

Its a sad indictment on the industry that the "future" of television seems to be reediting old programmes, +1 channels and docu soaps. Now if they got rid of all of those, saved the epg slots and didn't put anymore satellites up into orbit then there would be more than enough money floating around to actually go out and hire some actors and film some programmes.

Channel 4 are certainly "green" - reduce (total new programming) reuse (on sister channels) and recycle (formats esp property)

Seems like another useful channel to me.

UPC are making plenty of noise at the moment about giving you the opportunity to watch programmes you've missed with their on demand service.

This type of channel is fulfilling the same purpose.

"The 8pm and 10pm slots will be used to showcase Channel 4 programmes that have created the greatest buzz in traditional media and social media. The 9pm slot contains whatever aired on Channel 4 24 hours earlier."

Waste of bandwidth. There should be a moratorium on existing companies taking up slots to show stuff they have already shown.

So what you see as More 4 +2, is actually 4seven.

Thanks for that, tried this last night and it worked, the only thing is the channel goes into "other channels" so it's not recordable and you can't pause etc.

Sadly, the card trick no longer works with the new look EPG. Within a few weeks, seeing the channels we've become so familiar with on the EPG will be a thing of the past.
