Help with laying new garden surface

Hi all,

Tearing my hair out as I'm obviously googling the wrong thing so if anyone can help I'd be so grateful!

Basically, I have two circular flowerbeds of brick cemented together which I want to get rid of & get a surface of about 4msq concreted as a base surface for a play area on which there'll be a foam surface or artificial grass.

Who can I ring or what should I look up for this service? I have a mini digger booked already but not sure this is what I need & I don't know who would lay the new concrete surface.

Oh to know a few builders!!

Dont know much about it so tried googling ireland pages for you and you would be able to ring a few of the results that came up to get a better idea of what you need:

Ask at your local co-op for someone who could do the removal and new concrete area or have a look in the golden pages but its always better to get someone that comes reccomended by a friend. Maby there is a local landscaper that could do it for you they arnt that busy at the moment. Maby get a couple of quotes.

Well laying a garden surface is not an easy job so its most preferable to hire some from paving industry who knows much about this.

Thanks for going to all that trouble! I've looked at those links & realised its way out of our budget! Will save for another bit & go back & look at things again in a few months.

you could always fill up the current flower beds with bark and playsand to be played in.

my son has turned a part of my polytunnel into a quarry, by agreement of course, only way to stop him digging all over the garden.
