moving aubretia

Hi I grew aubretia from seed last year and i planted it out too densely . i am wondering when is the best time to lift the plants to new locations or if it is possible at all

That aubretia looks fine to be honest. I suppose as it's so wet, you might get away with doing it now. I've found aubretia difficult to move, mainly because it's not so easy to get at the roots. It might be easier to sow some more.
