Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

had a bit of a notion to watch the european qualifiers. Is it possible? Do clubs have any streams out there?

Funnily enough Ive seen Ekranas twice in action in the flesh! Once in Panevezys and once in Cork. City knocked them out. They were no great shakes at the time although it was a good while a go.

BTW Ekranas just means Lightbulb or Light.

Fair play on making both games, it's a nice feeling to complete a tie. I've been fortunate to be able to do it a couple of times.
But they did beat City at the Cross in 2005, so Shamrocks Dublin FC need to be wary.

In what language is Ekranes 'Light' or 'Light Bulb', in Estii one word for light is Valgus and a word for Light bulb is elektripin. In Russian Light is Svet and light bulb is lampachka.

I did know that the Icelandic side Akranes means Hospital.

Its Lithuanian. They are named after this company. http://www.ekranas.lt/en.php/pages,id.73 It Could have been tube or light tube as well, something like that.

They did beat us in Cork and they were a handy side but we did go through.

I reckon it will be a very closely fought tie between Rovers and Ekranas.

So can Linfield go to the mighty Faroe Islands tonight and get the win they need to go face AEL Limassol of Cyprus?

Just saw there that Red Bull Salzburg were beaten 1-0 by the mighty F91 Dudelange of Luxembourg. That is an absolute shocker IMO. Dudelange enter the competition at the preliminary stage every year, on a par with San Marino's champions.

Incredible result and probably equivalent to the likes of Shamrock Rovers defeating a bottom half Premier League team.

I feel really sorry for their fans to be honest. What a **** time of it they've had. Their club bought over and totally stripped of every aspect of their history. IMO **** Red Bull, not necessarily the club.

Exactly! It ripped the club out of the heart of the city. Some moved with the founding of the new Austria Salzburg, but you can bet that pretty much all of the RB fans were fans of the original Austria Salzburg before 2005. I feel sorry for all of them. Same as I feel terribly sorry for the Cardiff fans who are going through something somewhat similar at the moment (though less extreme).

Oh my..Zagreb have scored in the 7th minute of injury time to go through 4-3 on aggregate against Ludogorets of Bulgaria.
There was 5 minutes added but well into the 6th minute Dinamo got a corner. The Bulgarians are distraught. They played the last 40 minutes with 10 men and managed to hold out for so long.

Not sure why the ref played longer than the 5. There was no injuries or subs that I saw.
