I saw the Spartak Moscow/Fenerbahce match. I thought McGeady played well and was a handful. He did though miss a great chance to make it 3-1. It might prove costly. Spartak's left-back Kombarov was impressive.

The noise from the Anderlecht support coupled with Anderlecht's quest for at least one goal made it a very entertaining game to watch. Mbokani was immense for Anderlecht, and the performance he put in coming on the heels of the first anniversary of his kid's death added to it.

There was a poignant shot after the game of Jovanovic and Mbokani embracing, and you could see the raw emotion in Mbokani's face.


Really enjoyed the game and the whiff of a counter attacking goal by AEL did add a lot of exceitement for the last ten minutes of regular time and the five minutes of added time.

Yakovenko took his goal very well, and kudos to Kanu for letting the ball loose for Yakovenko. Was a most un Kanu-like moment to see him using his brain like that.:D
