Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Really looking forward to the Juve match. The first leg will be very tough, but I'm confident enough that Juve will go through over the two legs.

I'm tempted to say 4 draws, all the 1st leg match ups look very close.

Since Chelsea are gone out I'll be cheering on AC Milan.

I think, they saved all their ability for the Champions League ;)

Sorry for the late reply, I dug meself into a hole after that abysmal match last Saturday ;)

Anyway...back to back titles in the Bundesliga in 1995 and 1996, mediocre performances during the Bundesliga season 1997, but Borussia won the Championsleague. And now? Back to back titles in the Bundesliga 2011 and 2012. The current Bundesliga season is full of anti performances, but it's going much better in the Champions League, so if you believe in such statistics...

    :D

It would be prudent to have Lars Ricken on the bench:)

Tough for Sch****, but I don't feel pity for them, they dared to beat Borussia Dortmund twice this season ;)

Isco with a peach of a finish. 1-0 Malaga.

Great stuff, delighted to hear that. Hope Malaga go through. Can't watch it because Rovers are playing(brutallly) in an FA Cup QF.

Porto down to 10. Defour sent off for a second yellow.

Criminal if Malaga don't go through after Porto offside goal first leg and clear Malaga disallowed goal tonight. They've been excellent tonight.

Yea, shocker of a decision to disallow that. If anything it was a foul on Baptista.

2-0 Malaga. Santa Cruz, that should be them through now.

Malaga will not be an easy draw for anyone, plenty of ability and huge amount of hunger.

one of the strongest Quarter Final's in CL history imo

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,222 ✭✭✭✭Will I Amnt

Anybody listening to the commentary on the highlights of Malaga v Porto on RTE??
    Ridiculous stuff.

Off goes Baptista who has done nothing all night.
On comes Roque Santa Cruz, can't be any worse than the rest of the players on the pitch.
That's a rubbish tackle from Toulalan.

Show a bit of enthusiasm man ffs.

Seriously underwhelmed by the standard of refereeing in the games that I managed to watch in the Last 16. That said, really looking forward to the draw on Friday! Wide open IMO.

Isco is a super player, not the finished article just yet but he's only 20. The hype is justified imo.

Are you going to decide how good he is based on a couple of summer games and disregard almost a full season in a La Liga and the Champion's league?

No, I just take that into consideration as well. He is overrated.

Last 8 draw today at 11am. You wouldn't know around here with no English team involved. Strongest last 8 in years imo though, think we're only Atletico Madrid And Man U short of the best 8 in Europe right now.

19 year old has a bad tournament during the summer so write him off for life?
