Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    They say the best way to open a banana is to do it monkey style but I always open mine by the stem. How do you reveal your banana?

    i have one of those little banana lunch boxes - bought four of them in the kitchen shop there yellow plastic and banana shaped so you can take your banana anywhere with you..

    I find that sometimes the stem bends instead of snapping, thus smushing the top of the banana with my clumsy fingers. Then I resort to monkey style.

    The good thing about monkey style is that when you have opened it you have a nice little holder at the bottom where the stem is. Leaving your other hand free to touch your index finger off your thumb with free abandon. Just so people don't mistake you for an actual monkey.

    If it's ripe, from the stem.

    If it's very green/unripe and the stem won't open easily and I don't have a knife handy I'll peel from the bottom like a monkey.

    I'd rarely eat an unripe banana though, they taste like ****.
