    Squats – works lots of muscles in the body, including quadriceps (complex movement). Over machine leg extension – isolates quads.
    Also go for:
    Lunges
    Step-ups
    Deadlifts

    Dead lifts are of all the traditional movements that one can perform arguably the most commonly translatable into everyday life.
