Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hello! I'm almost sure that I'd like to study at UCC next year and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on accommodation? I'd like somewhere I could stay with a couple of friends, if possible?

There's a sticky at the top of this forum that has tons of posts about accommodation, and a lot of people debating the relative merits of various locations based on their or others' experiences.

You can also go on http://www.uccaccommodation.ie/ and search for places based on criteria like whether you want an ensuite bathroom, a double bed, how far you want to be, whether couple are allowed, etc. I think they're going to get a lot more places up there in the coming month or so as people start looking towards moving in in September. The people at the accommodations office are also very helpful if you call them up for advice.

I'm in the same boat as you, and that's what I've been looking through for suggestions. Obviously, the best thing to do is to see places beforehand so you can get a sense for yourself of what they're like, but I don't know if that's an option for you (I'm an international student, so it's not for me until I get there in September).

    Hope this helps.
