I have a good offer from 083 to switch but it is a two year contract and I am afraid of the coverage in the south east, has anybody experience of them and their coverage for both phone and Data?

3 coverage is excellent in Waterford

You mean 3? I find them great and because I'm still stuck on an older contract pre January it means I can tether my phone in the UK and won't cost me a cent. Coverage wise they're pretty decent and on par with Vodafone and O2 who I have been with in the past.

The only place I had bad coverage was in Jack Meades. Every where else is top notch.

You can get coverage in jack meades if you stand near the toilet doors :P

Jack Meades is in a dip so that's expected. Perfect excuse for you to stay out there longer and blame your phone for not getting a signal to ring a taxi :D

With three over two years , happy with it. Good call coverage , yes 3G coverage jumps around to circle of life as I call it and doesn't often go back . This means frequent rebooting on I phone to get 3 G back. Having said that I have often driven from Waterford to clonmel with 3G holding its own to enable me to listen to Internet radio on tune in app in the car. Basically I get great use of the all you can eat data , all this for just over 40 a month. Recommend them.

I live in the countryside and I even get full 3G internet signal out here, so it's definitely one of the best in Waterford :D

I'm with 3 2 years, just went into another 24 month contract, signal is grand everywhere for me!

No problems with 3 for me at all. All you can eat data is well handy.

Never had a problem with coverage, but their customer care is shocking, all out sourced to India, except for the iPhone tech help which is Irish.

That's odd because I never had problems with them. Yeah they might not nderstand my accent but they have always been helpful to me.
I had to ring up and get internet open fully so I could view certain sites. Yeah some porn but I update the Rom on my phone every few days and some of them "cough' not so legal sites where blocked. Took two minutes on phone and all was sorted.

When did you contact them? I heard that they had moved it to Dublin(much worse:)) I have 02 for personal and three for work and use the Three nearly all the time as the signal is bettter. I get free calls/internet and all you can eat data, it doesn't cost me anything but I think it works out at €40 a month.
