Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi leoch.

I know that its usually 32 bales per wrap but with the extra, I think it was 27.

    Silotite is your best stuff.
Connacht Gold doing VOLAC for round 81-82. Not bad value and it used to be the main brand. Hear some lads giving out about it now but I think it fine.

Dont buy Quinn though. you will get lads on now saying they use it and its fine but it tears too easy at corners of the bale and is not as easy handle as any other wrap when lifting the wrapped bale

Visqueen is 65 euro in derrylin. Think I'll have to buy more - there is going to be more bales per acre this year!!

    Hi lads,
The cheap stuff might not have any levy on it, and you wont be able to get rid of it at the IFFPG plastic collections. I know a lot of lads that got caught out this year and had to pay €85 half tonne rather than €15. Ya might win in one hand but ya more than loose out on the other.

I buy the levied stuff but i only use 3 rolls a year. Approx 90 bales.

Now if i was using say 20 rolls and i was saving €25 a roll on the "unlevied stuff thats €500. Less (€85 - €15) €70 is €430 saved..

And feck drive around, how many lads take it to the IFFPG (I do ), the amount of wrap that is burnt and dumped in bogs and holes is unreal.
