Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I lost my phone about 2 months ago.
I tried to use iCloud to locate it for a few days but it didn't work.
Then I decided to click to have it wipe all the data, and nothing.
I had accepted the phone was gone and then early this morning Apple email me to tell it has been remotely wiped.
I logged on to iCloud to try and locate it but it says now it can't be located because it has been remotely wiped:rolleyes:
    It's all very strange!

That's the issue with wiping it - once its wiped it obviously can't log into iCloud any more and thus can't be tracked.

When you sent the command for it to be wiped iCloud would wait until the phone next comes online and send the command immediately.

That's extremely annoying. So I would have been able to track it if I had chosen not to wipe it.

The lets you know that you can't track it once wiped.
How could you. There's no data on it if wiped, therefore nothing to connect it you your account.

No, it said it was going to email when it was found. Then after a few days I assumed I wasn't going to find it so I just clicked to have it wiped.
I assumed that if it was ever turned on again without being wiped first of all, it would have given me the location first before wiping the thing, not override that command.
Annoying. I'd love to know where it is:mad:

I don't wish to add to your woes but it clearly states that "using remote wipe will prevent you from locating your phone".
