Fantastic site for comparing graphics cards:

As I said before, you're welcome to post whatever questions, but for a quick question, the hardware discussion thread or off topic threads are a good place to go so that you don't need to create new threads each time (plus it's more likely to get seen). :)

NotebookCheck isn't great... They appear to have great listings of stuff, but if you actually look into things, you'll see the laptops they test in no way compare. You have an Acer Aspire M3 which they used for the 640M benchmark, and it uses a ULV chip, so the card gets bottlenecked about 20%. Other laptops have less RAM, slower/faster hard drives, etc. so they're only really useful as a very rough guide.

It's useful because they give you specs and often a bit of background information, like X is just an overclocked version of Y. If you look down at the frames, it gives several results. You're presented with a range so you quickly get a picture of how well it will do in relation to a particular game. If you click on each of them it gives you the machine it was tested on, so you get the idea of how good or bad it can be and maybe you can find a system similar to one that you are thinking of buying.

It could certainly be better and as with any site, you have to take more factors into consideration and ask yourself what's not being told, but it's still one of the best resources in this area.
