Coolaney 8k Road Race - Friday 27th July

    Hi Folks. Just giving a plug to a brilliantly organised community based race in Coolaney, County Sligo. This year's race takes place on Friday 27th July at 7 pm as part of the Coolaney Summer Festival. The race route is the same as previous years with a single scenic loop on a flat, fast route starting and finishing on the main street in Sligo's tidiest village

    Athletes can register through www.runireland.com and a children's 2k fun run will again be held before the adults race.

    Participants may register as senior, over 35, over 45 or walkers and all can avail of hot showers and refreshments after the event.
