    arrived in the door at about half 10, straight to the shower and then for some food. am quite delighted the Rover did the whole thing with no complaints, apart from the tor road but that was to be expected. Ask me in a week if i want to do next years :pac:

    Some lad pulled in over the crest of a hill to let us by, i was the 4th or 5th car in line and the 330D was right in front of me, i saw the brake lights and just jammed on, tyres squealed, and brakes were roasting hot. Not something you want when you're just starting the tor road run

    Out of everyone who said they'd stop in the hotel for a few minutes and then head on who stayed?

    I just want to say thanks very much to all of ye for making it such a good weekend. I never thought you could have so much craic and banter while doing it for a great cause.

    The organisers should be very proud of themselves fof doing such a fantastic job. Anyone who is contemplating doing this in future years are guarnteed a great weekend with a great bunch of people.

    See ye all round again next year folks...:)

    Oh yes the best part of the weekend other than the drive was the craic with the syco...:D:D. What a character...:D

    Am sick I missed it this year, what was people's highlights this year? Was Torr road just as good for those who've seen it for the 2nd/3rd time? Come across any other great roads?

    Slightly off topic but I can put you guys onto some of the best driving roads in the country for next year if you want, instead of the Leitrim / Sligo loop at the end of day 2 have a loop around Donegal.

    Knockalla, a 12 kM Stretch of pure driving heaven, corkscrew, cliff top drive, it has it all;

    6112598785_51e4fa11bc.jpg

    5560988243_561cfef900_b.jpg

    And the Atlantic drive, an 8KM drive around a small peninsula, with more corners than you can think off, not as good as knockalla but still good.

    You know I'm reliable because it was me who set you guys onto the torr head road ;)

    Tbh, even though we got stuck behind someone actually enjoying the view, I had more fun this year as I only had the car about 2 months last year and wasn't overly confident in it. This year, t'was great to really push it a little more without fear.

    Just home now after another 500 miles extra around clare and galway and then home, scared to look at the petrol bills but well north of the 350 euro mark.

    The Bmw was faultless all weekend except for tuesday when the girlfriends brother snapped the key in the lock.

    Absolutely great craic, don't have to many pic's as the purple gay camera wasn't the best. Great to meet everyone. Made me feel very welcome and the route was excellent.

    I'm off to bed know and I'll be awake Monday to hopefully A better write up
