Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I would like to get 2 foundations,Rimmel Lasting Finish and Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid. However, I don't know which shades to get. I've got q uite an olive complexion and have the same skin tone as Cheryl Cole,Eva Longoria,etc...
The shades in the Rimmel Lasting Finish are:
    Soft Beige
    Natural Beige
    Nude
    Warm Honey
The shades in Maybelleine Dream Satin Liquid:
    Sand
    Cameo
    Sun Beige
    Fawn
    Thanks very much :)

I agree, the only way to tell is by testing. I mean, Cheryl Cole and Eva Longoria might look to have the same skin tone to you but I would say they have very different hues in their skin and probably wouldn't be able to wear the same foundation!

The only way to choose foundation is by testing it. Apparently doing so by blending it on the jawline is the best indicator of the right shade.

I would go with Maybelline over Rimmel any day though! I think their foundations are a much better quality and the Dream Satin Liquid is a great everyday foundation.

+ a million for testing - I cannot tell you the number of times I have gone for a foundation that was not the right colour (usually it's the pink/yellow undertone that kills the foundation!). Most places have a sampler for you to look at, and it's handy to bring your current foundation to compare.

As far as brand, I agree with charlietheminxx - Maybelline is a better foundation brand to go for.
