Amazing the work that goes into a single produced porn scene. The professional stuff - not the amateur stuff - for example is often shot from quite a few different angles. The reason you never see the other cameras in these angles is that the porn stars actually shoot each sex scene multiple times - often on a single day.

So while you are sitting watching a scene of two people having sex for 30 minutes - the actual actors likely did it anything from 5 to 10 times.

If it were porn for distribution - sale or profilt I would likely agree with you. Its not though - more of a personal project where we are excercising our writing skills (a few of us actually write for a living) and just having a fun time out of the creative process. With some sex scenes added in for the fun.

If we ever filmed it - and even if we do not and it remains just a script - we would like it to be result we can be proud of. Some in the group of us are quite keen to film it. The rest just joking semi seriously about it.

If it is a profession, like accounting, teaching, soliciting (ha ha), etc then I would advise you to steer clear. Your good name would not be a good name anymore, and Ireland is too small for people not to hear about it.

I would just advise you to steer clear regardless actually, for reasons of health and sanity, as well as the above reason.

A quick fix to earn money is generally not a good idea.

OP - would you not at least try applying for a grant for college before going into porn? You talk like you've exhausted all other options, but you haven't. I posted a reply to your thread about college, don't know if you seen it, but I basically told you that if you want help with college, you need to ask everyone & everywhere, local businesses, the college you're going to, everywhere.

I can't get a job & my parents struggled to give me help with college & that's what I did. Although I am refused for the grant every year, I still applied again. Doesn't hurt to try.

Porn is a bad idea. It will come back to bite you in the ass later. You'll be looking for a job after college & they'll discover a video online. Things that end up online tend to stay there, they can be damn near impossible to get rid of. I recently took my niece for her secondary school interview with my old principal and she told me that one of the things she tells first years is this:
"Don't put anything on the internet that you wouldn't gladly put here on the noticeboard for everyone to see"

It's not your only option, at all. Go ask places for help with college, look up scholarships, ask local businesses, go mowing people's lawns or send out flyers offering to babysit or do odd jobs in peoples home, offer to teach people to use the internet, give grinds to school students, offer to walk peoples dogs. There are loads of things you could try to do that wont end up ruining your life in the future, and you could also put these things on a CV later.
