Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How to Unlock iphone 4s from O2 to Meteor

    Hi,

    Just wondering how you unlock an iphone 4s from O2 to Meteor...? I just want it unlocked and not jailbroken. My dad got it as part of an upgrade yesterday but want to keep his iphone 4 and gave me the iphone 4s.

    The guy in O2 said that we need to spend over 150e before O2 will unlock it. This is basically 3 months billings but I don't want to wait 3 months! Has anyone had similar dealings with O2?

    Went to a few Asian mobile shops in the City Centre yesterday and they want €60. Don't wanna pay this as I only want it unlocked for 3months because then I want O2 to do it for me. Does anyone know a shop that worked for them an how much? Also, can I take off the unlock to get O2 to do it in 3months?

    I'm afraid that the iphone 5 might be out before I get to use my mobile which seems it was a pointless upgrade!!

    If your dad's is in contract you will need to go to url above and request the unlock using his mobile number, when was bought in contract they should unlock it straight away.

    If PAYG requested but using his phone number as he probably already used the €150 since when he got it.

    O2 also have a section here in boards in the Talk to them about it.

    Thanks for that link but I am unsure as my dad switch from PAYG to Billpay yesterday so he would have spent more than 150e on PAYG but not on billpay yet?

    If he switched from apyg to bill pay yesterday get him to add the imei number of his iphone to his o2 bill pay account if it isn't already and get O2 to unlock it. They should allow it especially if he's in contract now.

    The IMEI number of his iphone 4 or the new iphone 4s?? I have just filled out the online request form there
