Well hopefully I should know this week weather or not I have got into NCI.
I have just finished a Fetac level 5 in Business with computers.

Whats the Level 6 Higher Cert in Business like?

I just finished the level six in Business and am progressing onto the level 8.

The level six is grand!

The first year you don't get a day off but are mostly in in the morning so afternoons to yourself.

All the lecturers are grand - not sure if they change them up every year though!

There'll be modules you'll like and hate. My favorites were Marketing, Enterprise and Introduction to Business Technology. Any questions PM me - I don't really check the NCI forum much! :P

Any idea if you can just complete year one in this and get a level 5 FETAC award?

Didn't get points for preferred course and trying to find another way in! It's for logistics in DIT and they take Level 5 entrys ...

Never mind ... called them to find out ... It think being on boards has diminished my ability to speak to people face to face!

You have to do the 2 years

im going to be doing it full time. you ?

Yeah dean i will be doing it full time too.

I think we should get some sort of info from the college in the post over the next few days.

not really nervous now but i bet i will be a few days before we start.

do we start on the 3rd ? it says the 10th on the NCI website.

I Got into a level 6 business with music technology course in athlone I.t i dont know whether to do it or not because i got into a plc in waterford too which would be handier as i live in kilkenny but im kind of thinking Athlone Might be a better option. Would the Level 6 Business be Hard and would you be starting from the basics ??. . i only did ordinary business in the leaving and got a b1. my head is wrecked ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

So we are in next week on the 3rd .4th and 6th

Yeah 3rd is registration day, 4th collecting student cards and 6th orientation day

seems like a waste having to travel to the college on tuesday just to get our student cards.would be alot handier to just get them on the services orientation day on thursady.

im looking forward to getting our timetable, hopefully its not too bad

i recieved my username and password last friday

I only accepted on Wednesday it says you get it after 3working days and still havent got it yet

think the timetables are up already but you have to sign in to the portal

just checked out the timetables, i hope im in group A as they finish earlier than group B

Whichever group is finished early on fridays i'll be happy with
