Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    So the manager expected you to finish your meal with broken glass in it? Seriously?

    Hate is a strong word.
    I just find it hard to believe that a business would operate like that. For the sake of changing their seating, offering a replacement meal & a drink on the house they could have saved themselves a lot of bother.
    As it is they have probably lost two customers. If not more.
    I honestly can't understand why they were treated like that, which makes me think it's lies.

    You must have had a very sheltered, or fortunate, life. Things like this happen every day of the year. People die from freak accidents, natural disasters occur, and restuarants provide sh1tty service. Thats life. Just because something improbable happens, doesn't mean its a lie. I hope you dont think that of every doubtful situation you come across.

    I come across ****ty service all the time. It doesn't really bother me.
    What the manager apparently did went beyond ****ty service & ventured towards dangerous.
    Fair enough let him be a prick about providing different seating, food etc but I don't believe that he expected them to eat their food with shards of tiny glass in it.
