Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A COUPLE were busted after trying to smuggle their baby into the United Arab Emirates - in their HAND LUGGAGE.

The Egyptian husband and wife were arrested when airport security staff spotted the five-month-old in a bag scanner, which emits powerful X-rays.

They were denied entry after flying into the UAE’s Sharjah International Airport on Friday night as they lacked any official documents for the newborn.

Airport authorities allowed them to stay until the relevant office re-opened yesterday.

    WTF???

Woman should have put the baby under her clothes and pretend it was a very well developed baby bump.

It would never happen on Ryanair, nothing with a pulse gets on their planes for free.

Plus if it was a Ryanair flight they were probably just bringing their first born in return for priority boarding and fire escape seats.

She should have known she wouldn't get away with it, they're quite strict.

She should have presented it separately, in a resealable plastic see through bag.

A mother and her young son were flying Ryanair from Knock to Manchester. The son (who had been looking out the window) turned to his mother and asked, "If dogs have baby dogs and cats have baby cats, why don't planes have baby planes?"

The mother - who couldn't think of an answer - told her son to ask the flight attendant.

So the boy dutifully asked the flight attendant, "If dogs have baby dogs and cats have baby cats, why don't planes have baby planes?"

The flight attendant responded, "Did your mother tell you to ask me that?"

The little boy admitted that she did.

"Well, then, tell your mother that there are no baby planes because Ryanair always pulls out on time. Now, ask you mother to explain that to you."

Perhaps the poor wee thing was being taken out a situation of potential neglect or abuse? Putting him through the x-ray machine was bloody stupid but the intentions may have been noble?

    Just sayin', like.

    An X-ray machine will give a bag 0.0002 millisieverts of radiation - about one-tenth of a dental X-ray. http://www.catsa-acsta.gc.ca/File/Library/77/English/X-Ray_safety_awareness_handbook.pdf

So there is zero risk to health. However, everyone knows that babies can be easily concealed in one's trouser-ass area.
