Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    No according to you....

But you've changed that now to

Which is entirely different to what you said originally. What you said originally is very misleading for others reading the thread who may not grasp the difference between the different standards and could end up with a Freeview TV that doesn't support Saorview.

I havent misslead anyone, have a re-read of what I originally posted back on page 2 and also subsiquent posts......MPEG4.

Sorry,I forgot that I bought "3" TVs from Tesco...(heaven forbid)

And then the 19 inch Silvercrest for 70 euro.

Appoligies....So 4 in total (note to self...must improve my maths)

An MPEG4 TV or a Freeview labeled TV with a MPEG4 digital tuner picks up Saorview.
The Pictures dont lie and they clearly show all the TVs picking up Saorview and it being tuned in on all TVs too.;)

Yes but your referring to TV's and Boxes that don't tell you they have MPEG4.

MPEG4 alone isn't enough you need...

    http://www.mpeg4ireland.com/saorview-receivers

Though granted most MPEG 4 boxes most will give you sound and vision if not the other features.

My pictures say more than words though.Visual proof.;)

One should open ones mouth and ask the TV sales person for the specs of the TV,or ask to see the TV booklet to check the specification, before buying it.

And like I said allready,I did my homework too.:)

    Its not rocket science.
