Wisteria tree?

    Hi

I have a friend who wants me to give him a tree as his wedding present. He isn't a keen gardener (like myself) so would probably need something that doesn't require too much attention. He suggested Wisteria - as a tree. I have wisteria on the front wall of my house as a climber. Is it possible to get Wisteria trees and if so, are they hard work to maintain as a tree as opposed to a climber? He also wants something small for a city garden situation.

    Thanks in advance
