Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rent Allowance Contact

    Hi,

    I recently started receiving rent allowance. My application was dealt with the Dublin 15 Central Rents Unit.

    Recently I switched banks so want to change the bank details the rent allowance is paid to.

    I got in contact with the Central Rents Unit and they told me they do not deal with this (even though I applied to them) and suggested I contact the social office.

    I was wondering is this correct? Is it my local Social Welfare Office I need to contact to update my details? I was hung up on before I could ask him to specify.

    As far as I know you need to contact your Community Welfare Officer at your local HSE Health Centre-they deal with all Rent Allowance.
    I'm nearly sure this is the case.
