Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The reception is so bad where I live,I pretty much live without a mobile phone whenever I'm home.

I've gone months without a mobile phone - I hate being always contactable. I only have one now in case the kids school needs to get hold of me. Unfortunately most of the calls I get are just pointless conversations I could do without, so I turn it off altogether in the evenings.

My fella recently upgraded to a smartphone and he's become obsessed with the bloody thing....always downloading some useless app or other and browsing the net. It's a real conversation killer and we've actually fought about the amount of time he spends on it. It's rarely used for actual calls.

I have an aul Nokia that must be 4 years old, I've no landline in the house but even at that I wouldn't be using it that much.

I think those of us who remember what life before the mobile phone was like would manage better if we had to give it up than kids who grew up with them.
