Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi I'm thinking of getting a smart tv for my shed and would wonder if its a good idea? I have no upc points there as yet and wonder if its an easy operation??

If you want to connect your TV up to a UPC box and get all the channels they offer, you'll probably need to call UPC up and get someone to install a point in the shed. Other than that everything should be fine. You should make sure the WiFi signal in your shed is reasonably strong too if you want to use the smart TV features.

I have just checked and on my I pad I only have 1 bar compared to 3 in house, is there such a device to help improve signal?

Yep. You can get a device called a wireless repeater which connects wirelessly to your existing router and then extends the signal. These can be a little tricky to set up though if you aren't used to fiddling around with your wifi setting.

A simpler option would be to do it through the mains power supply. I assume since you're putting a TV in the shed that it's got power sockets. What you can do is use something like these. You plug one into the wall near your router and connect it to the router using a standard ethernet cable. Then you plug the other end into your TV and connect it to the TV with another ethernet cable (the cables come included). I have just bought a pair myself and can say they work perfectly.
